The heavyweight championship rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will take place on December 21, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The highly anticipated rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk is officially set for December 21, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This announcement was made by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, confirming the new date after their initial two-fight deal.
Usyk became the undisputed heavyweight champion after a split decision victory over Fury earlier this month, with one judge favoring Fury 114-113, while the other two scored 114-113 and 115-112 for Usyk. This bout marks Usyk as the first unified heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999. Both fighters are currently under medical suspension due to the intensity of their first encounter. Boxing fans around the world eagerly await another historic clash between these two titans.
