The Green Bay Packers couldn’t take care of business on Saturday night, but it wasn’t on their backup quarterback. Malik Willis put up 348 total yards and three total touchdowns, leading Matt LaFleur’s offense in Jordan Love’s absence. The former Tennessee Titans draft pick had already shown glimpses in Green Bay, and it now seems like he’s looking at a big contract in free agency. When asked about that, Willis stated that he wanted the tape to do all the talking for him. Even so, he’s not thinking about that right now. “I think that what you put on tape is your pitch,” Willis said, per Kyle Malzhan of WFRVLocal5. “Obviously, any opportunity, it would be a blessing. You want to think about that type of stuff, but can’t worry about tomorrow. Today has enough problems of its own. We gotta figure out how to get back on track here.” Willis has completed 85.7 percent of his passes for 422 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions this season. He also has 22 carries for 123 yards and two rushing touchdowns. WitRead More
