According to MLB insider Francys Romero, Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis García is drawing trade interest from “several teams.” Romero didn’t name any of the purported teams, but there are numerous that could use an outfielder like him. Since hitting 39 home runs alongside a postseason performance reminiscent of Barry Bonds in 2023, García has slowed down considerably. This season, he is hitting .234/.279/.404 with 13 home runs, but his bat jolted back to life in June and has he has been able to maintain that momentum into July. As a right fielder, his 14 DRS (defensive runs saved) are tied for third in the game. If García can keep it up, he’ll make a solid trade acquisition at the deadline, that is, if the Rangers are selling. García is under club control through next season.
