TJ Moore injury update: New York Giants rookie carted off after gruesome leg injury

New York Giants rookie TJ Moore was carted off the field Thursday night after a gruesome leg injury. He got hurt in the final minutes of the preseason finale against the New England Patriots and was having a huge showing.

Moore was playing in the secondary when his leg appeared to twist on the turf at MetLife Stadium. His teammates surrounded him as he got onto the cart, and he gave a thumbs-up to the crowd as he headed toward the locker room.

Moore was in the midst of a big game in Thursday’s final preseason game. He had three total tackles and a 44-yard pick-six as he looks to make an impression on the Giants and secure a spot on the roster.
