Top 10 wide receiver rankings on Madden 26 revealed

On Aug. 14, EA Sports’ will release Madden 26 . With fans still having to wait two weeks to play with their favorite players, EA Sports gave fans a sneak peek of what’s to come, revealing the Top 10 wide receivers in the game.

The EA Sports team had plenty of talented standouts to choose from. With passing numbers soaring each year, wide receivers are more instrumental to the game than ever before. While some veterans are still dominating the competition, some younger wideouts are beginning to make their mark as well.

In short order, fans will be able to catch virtual passes with all of their beloved players. With 10 talented wide receivers to cover, let’s dive into Madden 26 ‘s wide receiver rankings.

Ja’Marr Chase is the best wide receiver in the game this year, and for good reason. Chase won the Triple Crown last season, leading the league in league in receptions (127), receiving yards (1,708), and receiving touchdowns (17).

The Cincinnati Bengals rewarded Chase handsomely this offseason, signing the 2024 First-Team All-Pro to a $161 million contract extension. At the time, the extension made Chase the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history.

Justin Jefferson was the best wide receiver in last year’s version of the game. While he isn’t entering this season as the top dog, he’s still a 99 overall and will give opposing defenses headaches.

As usual, Jefferson was fantastic last season, reeling in 103 catches for 1,533 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. For his efforts, he was named a First-Team All-Pro for the second time in his career.

Amon-Ra St. Brown was instrumental in the Detroit Lions’ historic 2024 campaign. The former USC star logged 115 catches for 1,263 yards and 12 touchdowns.

St. Brown finished the season on a high note, notching eight catches for 137 yards in the Lions’ 45-31 loss to the Washington Commanders in the NFL Playoffs. He is under contract with the Lions through 2028 and will look to lead the organization to new heights this year.

CeeDee Lamb skipped the Dallas Cowboys’ voluntary workouts, mandatory minicamp and training camp last year while he held out for a new contract. The Cowboys eventually gave in, signing Lamb to a four-year, $136 million deal with $100 million guaranteed.

Lamb didn’t make the Cowboys regret their decision. The 26-year-old superstar was named a Pro Bowler for the fourth time after amassing 101 catches for 1,194 receiving yards and six touchdowns.

After the Miami Dolphins went 8-9 and missed the playoffs last season, it looked like Tyreek Hill would be moving on from the team. Alas, the lightning-fast receiver is running it back in Miami this fall and ready to have a career year.

It’ll be a bounce-back season for Hill, whose numbers were down last year after Dolphins QB1 Tua Tagovailoa missed an extended period of time due to concussions. In 2023, Hill reminded fans he’s still in his prime, tallying a league-high 1,799 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.

Terry McLaurin has been a handful for opponents since he stepped on the field as a rookie in 2019. McLaurin has had five consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons and it doesn’t look like he’ll slow down anytime soon.
