The Jacksonville Jaguars are placing rookie wide receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter on injured reserve due to a knee injury he suffered in practice on Thursday. Head coach Liam Coen revealed the news on Friday morning.

Hunter, who was selected with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, hauled in 28 receptions for 298 yards and one touchdown in seven games. He also recorded 15 tackles (11 solo, four assisted) and three pass deflections. After being placed on IR, the Colorado alum will now miss the next four games for Jacksonville.
