Texas Longhorns guard Tre Johnson has, perhaps, the smoothest jump shot in the 2025 class. His sense of style, well, some may not find it so smooth. Johnson, 19, wore a navy suit jacket over matching knee-length tailored shorts to the NBA Draft at the Barclays Center in New York on Wednesday night. ESPN analyst Jay Bilas wasn’t feeling Johnson’s outfit. “Look at that suit. … Up top he looks like a banker,” Bilas said (h/t On3’s Daniel Hager). “Down low, he’s like a guitarist for AC/DC.” Bilas was likely referring to AC/DC guitarist Angus Young, known for wearing shorts with a suit jacket on stage. Johnson’s style may not be for everyone, but his game could be. The 6-foot-6, 190-pound guard seems ideal for the modern NBA, which values elite three-point shooters.
