Trevon Diggs injury update: Monday practice report revealed ahead of Cowboys vs Eagles

Thursday Night Football starts out with a bang, sending the Dallas Cowboys to a bitter NFC East rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. A Super Bowl banner will be unveiled from Lincoln Financial Field before the 2025 season officially gets underway. Both teams have begun preparation and unfortunately, that includes injuries.

Dallas released its first injury report of the year on Monday. Four names show up, three of which provide good news. Cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee), left tackle Tyler Guyton (knee), and tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford (ankle) were all full participants in practice. Defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey (back) was the lone DNP.

Getting Diggs back would be a massive boost for the Cowboys, considering where his status stood at the beginning of the offseason. Diggs was limited for most of training camp but Dallas decided to place him on the 53-man roster instead of starting on PUP. He would have then had to miss a minimum of four games.

An update from the man himself came after the team got off the practice field. Diggs gives about a “75-80%” chance he winds up playing on Thursday night against Philadelphia.
