The Dallas Cowboys are down two of their best defenders due to injury in Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. Both defensive tackle Kenny Clark and cornerback Trevon Diggs left the contest late in the third quarter.
Diggs’ injury occurred when he made a tackle on Bears receiver DJ Moore. It is an apparent shoulder injury and he was taken to the medical tent to be evaluated.
Clark’s injury happened only a few plays later as he was helped off the field and also taken to the injury tent. He was later able to return to the game in the fourth quarter.
The injuries came at a critical time, as just a few plays later the Bears went on to score a touchdown and increase their lead to 31-14. That is were the score remains at the time of this writing with 8:58 to go in the fourth quarter.
