The Dallas Cowboys have revealed their injury report for Wednesday, and CB Trevon Diggs and OL Tyler Smith headline the list. The team announced that Diggs was a limited participant in practice, and Smith did not participate in practice. Both players are dealing with knee injuries heading into the Week 5 game against the New York Jets.
Trevon Diggs, who had surgery on his left knee in January,did not start in the game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night. He played in 64 percent of the team’s snaps on Sunday (53 snaps) and recorded four tackles with one tackle for loss in the 40-40 tie.

After the game, Diggs told reporters he didn’t start against the Packers due to an off-the-field issue. Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer was impressed with how Diggs played on Sunday night.

“He’s been banged up a little bit,” Schottenheimer said postgame about Diggs. “I’ve been a little tough on Trevon, just in terms of the consistency and things like that. But man, I thought he played really well tonight. I’m proud of him.”
Tyler Smith played in all of the offensive snaps on Sunday. In September, Smith became the highest-paid interior offensive lineman in the NFL when he agreed to a four-year, $96 million contract extension that includes $81.2 million in guaranteed money.
