Trey Lance makes strong first impression with Chargers in Hall of Fame Game

Trey Lance’s career has not developed as anybody hoped after he was taken with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Injuries, inconsistency and bouncing around the league has left him in a situation where he is trying to rebuild his career on a one-year, $2 million free-agency contract with the Los Angeles Chargers. That personal rebuilding got off to a promising start during Thursday’s NFL Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio, when he played the bulk of the Chargers’ 34-7 win against the Detroit Lions.
