Chris Paul appears to be struggling to find a market after being sent home by the Los Angeles Clippers. Paul has been linked to both the Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets since the Clippers sent him home in early December. However, neither team appears to be interested at this point. Jake Fischer of The Stein Line wrote Saturday that Paul has been told not to expect any interest from the Lakers. The Rockets have a need for point guard depth, but are unlikely to make any significant moves until late January due to how close they are to reaching the first salary cap apron. The Rockets, in particular, seemed like a very logical landing spot for Paul. He has played for them before, they are a likely playoff team, and he could fit a need. Perhaps their stance will change later in the season depending on whether they can address their financial concerns, but for now, Paul will apparently be at home for a while longer.
