Tyler Booker eager to bring 'burn and passion' to Dallas Cowboys

Tyler Booker is ready to embed himself in Dallas Cowboys culture and he hasn’t even taken a snap yet. The rookie guard out of Alabama was selected No. 12 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft and could already become a fan favorite. 

Coming from a championship culture at Alabama, the Crimson Tide lost four games last season, which is too much for Booker’s liking. As Dallas looks to rebuild the offensive line for veteran quarterback Dak Prescott, Booker is a huge part of the present and future.

Without a national title, Booker’s next goal is to win a Super Bowl. It’ll be something to chase as the Cowboys have been for three decades.

“I love to win and I hate to lose. I lost too much this past year. I lost a lot more than I should have in college, me being at Alabama,” Booker said, via the Dallas Morning News. “I left without a national championship and that’s something that is going to burn at me for the rest of my life. So I’m going to bring that burn and passion and desire with me to the NFL and transfer that over to wanting to win Super Bowls.”

Training camp is just around the corner and it’ll be hard to contain Booker’s excitement. Ironically, he’s going to have to contain others from splitting the offensive line and getting to his quarterback. Still, despite his collegiate accomplishments, Booker is eager to learn more.
