Injuries have piled up throughout training camp for the Dallas Cowboys. Arguably no more devastating than left tackle Tyler Guyton , someone who was looking to take a big step ahead of the 2025 season. While he is expected to return for the majority of the year, exactly when is still unclear.

On Tuesday, Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer gave an update on where Guyton currently sits. The former first-round pick is getting reps during mock practices at the moment. Schottenheimer was highly complimentary of the way Guyton is working.

Not putting a timeline on it, but Iโ€™ve been very pleased with what Iโ€™ve seen from him. The intensity that heโ€™s attacking the rehab and the way heโ€™s working is not normal for a second-year player. Iโ€™m very proud of him for that.โ€

At first, reports indicated Guyton tore his ACL and would miss the entire season. Thankfully, the MRI handed out different information as he actually suffered a bone fracture. No surgery was required, just some time away from the field.
