Tyreek Hill injury update: Miami Dolphins WR carted off field after gruesome leg injury

Miami Dolphins (0-3) wide receiver Tyreek Hill was carted off in the third quarter of Monday’s Week 4 home contest against the New York Jets (0-3). Hill suffered a serious left leg injury after catching a pass from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa .

The Dolphins immediately ruled Hill out for the remainder of the game. He is being taken to a local hospital for imaging, evaluation and observation. Hill, 31, led the Dolphins with six receptions for 67 yards before the injury.

“Both staffs got to Tyreek Hill immediately. They both tried to stabilize his knee,” ESPN sideline reporter Katie George said. “They cut off his cleats and the tapes surrounding his ankles to get it in a stabilizer. His mom able to come down to the field, she bent down and gave him a kiss on his forehead. And now we see his teammates are coming to console him as they are about to cart him off.”
