Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro tight end Brock Bowers is trending toward not playing Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, NFL Network ‘s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported on Saturday.

Bowers has been battling a knee injury that he suffered in Vegas’ season opening loss to the New England Patriots. He currently ranks second on the team with 225 receiving yards, but he has yet to haul in a touchdown this season.

On Friday, Las Vegas Raiders head coach  Pete Carroll   said  that he expected Bowers to suit up this weekend. That however doesn’t quite look like the case.

“We figure that he’ll play,” Carroll said. “We just wanted to make sure to rest him throughout (the week). We have him listed as questionable but we think he’ll play.”

Bowers  appeared  to suffer the knee injury in that season opener when he absorbed a low blow near the sideline. On the next play, Bowers could be seen limping before walking off the field.

Before leaving the game, Bowers tallied five catches for a team-high 103 receiving yards. While Bowers hasn’t missed a game yet this season, he hasn’t been able to put up the same numbers he notched in Week 1.
