Warriors legend Steph Curry surpasses major milestone in Christmas Day win 

Often regarded as the greatest shooter in history, Steph Curry reached a major career milestone and moved up the NBA’s all-time list on Christmas Day.  While leading the Golden State Warriors to a 126-116 win over Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks, Curry, 37, surpassed 26,000 career points. He scored 23 in 33 minutes despite posting an uncharacteristic low shooting percentage of 33.3% from the field. He only splashed two three-pointers out of the 10 he attempted.  Curry connected on just 6-of-18 shots in the game, but finished the night with 26,011 points and a 47.1% career mark. He also added a three rebounds and four assists.  The four-time champion and two-time league MVP now sits in 22nd place on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. Curry sits ahead of contemporary DeMar DeRozan and behind 60 points away from Basketball Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett, who retired with 26,071.
