WATCH: Aaron Rodgers shares puzzling interaction with kid claiming QB nearly hit him at American Century Championship

Aaron Rodgers is taking on all-comers at the American Century Championship, an annual celebrity golf tournament. After a child spectator was nearly hit by Rodgers’ ball at the event, he let the Steelers’ QB know, shouting, “You almost hit me, Aaron Rodgers.” Rodgers didn’t hesitate to respond.

“Almost doesn’t count.”

Despite nearly hitting a kid in the crowd, Rodgers is holding his own on the golf course. As of this report, he is in the Top 15 at the event, which has 90 competitors — most of whom are athletes.

Of course, it shouldn’t be any surprise to see Rodgers finding success on the links. In 2023, Rodgers won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am. He’s also competed in The Match twice.

His first appearance in the beloved golf outing was in 2021, when he and Bryson DeChambeau teamed up against Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady . Rodgers and DeChambeau pulled out a narrow victory.

Rodgers returned to The Match for its sixth edition. In a twist of fate, he teamed up with Tom Brady and squared off against fellow quarterback Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes . As usual, Rodgers emerged victorious.

Now, Rodgers will look to pick up some wins on the gridiron. On June 6, Rodgers agreed to a one-year, $13.65 million contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
