The Dallas Cowboys have a couple cornerbacks looking to make waves during the preseason. Andrew Booth is one of them, needing to string together a couple of good performances. Saturday against the Baltimore Ravens was a great start for him, making a massive play.
Cooper Rush, a former teammate of Booth, threw a third-down interception late in the first quarter. Booth originally got his hands on the ball before watching it float back up. Eventually, he got possession and began to run the other way.
Booth was not stopped by anybody on the Ravens, cashing in for a pick-six. A fantastic moment not just in the moment for the cornerback but maybe in his long-term status with the team.

Booth played in seven games last season, starting in two of them. He put 15 tackles on the stat sheet and recorded one pass defended. Not bad considering his role for the Cowboys, being more of a reserve in his first season with the franchise.
What happens at cornerback will be a major storyline when it comes time to put together the final roster. Injuries are hampering them, specifically Trevon Diggs and Shavon Revel Jr. Exactly how long those two guys are going to be out is currently unknown. Some healthy bodies are needed, along with quality.
These are the type of plays the Cowboys are going to be looking for, even in a preseason game. Booth making an impact during the regular season would be a major plus.
