WATCH: Bad Bunny calls out NFL fans over Super Bowl halftime complaints during SNL monologue

Bad Bunny being announced as the halftime show to Super Bowl LX has caused a national reaction toward the NFL. He’s not concerned about it, though, as he prepares to perform in front of the world come February 8th.

Hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ last night in the show’s debut of this season, Bad Bunny referenced his nod as the halftime performer during his opening monologue to the show. He joked at the expense of those who have criticized him as the choice, with him giving them a four-month heads-up to start brushing up on their Spanish.

“You might not know this but I’m doing the Super Bowl halftime show, and I’m very happy. I’m very happy, and I think everybody is happy about it, even FOX News,” he said, running a mock clip of reactions on the network from the past week. “But, really, I’m very excited to be doing the Super Bowl, and I know that people all around the world that love my music are also happy.”

“And, if you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn,” Bad Bunny said in closing, having just spoken for half a minute in Spanish.

Plenty of fans are still very excited about Bad Bunny being the choice for the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show this year in Santa Clara. Still, there is a segment of people who, for whatever more conservative reasoning, obviously aren’t, with those of that opinion disagreeing this past week for the most part due to his international performance as essentially all of his music is done in Spanish.
