by: Nick Geddes 20 hours ago NickGeddesNews

Stephen A. Smith began his Monday doing his ESPN show, “First Take,” from Texas Live! He’s ending his Monday at AT&T Stadium, and Jerry Jones made sure to accommodate him well.

The Cowboys owner/general manager had Smith as a guest in his luxury box for their Week 9 game against the Arizona Cardinals. But after Dallas went down 10-0 early in the second quarter, Smith decided he’d seen enough — at least from where he was sitting, next to Jones.

ESPN ‘s camera crew caught the moment Smith stood up, shook the hand of Jones and left the box. Monday Night Football play-by-play announcer Joe Buck had some fun with it on the broadcast.

“They say a picture is worth one billion words,” Buck said. “There it is… Stephen A. is like, ‘Alright, good luck. I’m outta here. I’m gonna go post on social media.’”

Smith, of course, has become known for his public trolling of the Cowboys’ fanbase, though he’s always said he is a fan of Jones. Just before the season, Smith interviewed Jones before the latter traded linebacker Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers.
