WATCH: Pat Bryant carted off after brutal hit, Broncos prayer circle

Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Pat Bryant was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bryant, with 31 seconds remaining in the game, took a massive hit over the middle of the field from Jaguars cornerback Montaric Brown .

According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, Bryant’s facemask was unscrewed from his helmet as the medical staff tended to him on the field. Both teams surrounded Bryant at midfield as he was carted off. Bryant was loaded directly into an ambulance and taken to a local hospital.

The Jaguars picked up a 34-20 win over the Broncos. Denver is now 12-3, still occupying the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Obviously, the immediate focus is on the health of Bryant.
