Defense plays a significant role in a team’s success, and some players excel in that area. There are some great defenders in the WNBA, and some of them were showing their abilities in college. The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Defensive Player of the Year is given to an ACC player who makes an impact on the defensive end.
