Will Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs play tonight against the Chicago Bears?

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs is officially listed as questionable for Saturday night’s massive divisional showdown against the Chicago Bears. And let’s be honest, “questionable” is the most stressful word in the English language right now. The practice report this week was discouraging. Jacobs didn’t log a single practice session. Usually, in the NFL, three straight DNPs (Did Not Practice) is a one-way ticket to the inactive list. He is dealing with a knee issue that flared up and swelled after the loss to Denver, plus an ankle problem. Reporters noted earlier in the week that Jacobs was sporting a knee brace and walking with a “significant” limp. Despite the lack of practice reps, he went on record saying he intends to play, saying that “it’s harder to watch games than it is to play hurt.”  Head coach Matt LaFleur has confirmed they are taking this right down to the wire. It’s a true game-time decision. If Jacobs sits, Emanuel Wilson will become the lead back. We have proof of concept here. InRead More
