Without question, it was a homecoming for WNBA veteran forward Alysha Clark when she joined AU Pro Basketball for the 2025 season in Nashville. Clark is from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, 20 miles from Nashville. Once again, she will play in her home state. Clark will return for her second season of AU Basketball in 2026. In her inaugural season, she finished in the top 15 on the leaderboard with 3,548 points. Additionally, she averaged 10.2 points. 6.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game in 12 games. Playing collegiately at Middle Tennessee, Clark was taken in the fifth round of the 2010 WNBA Draft by the San Antonio Silver Stars (now the Las Vegas Aces). After being waived in 2010 and 2011, Clark joined the Seattle Storm in 2012. While with the Storm for a decade, she won two WNBA championships. What’s more, she finished second in the Defensive Player of the Year voting in 2020.
