Wyndham Clark pulls petty move in wake of U.S. Open venue ban

Wyndham Clark has made headlines for the wrong reason on more than one occasion, and the PGA golfer was once again criticized over a move he pulled at The Open Championship on Saturday. Clark got off to a rough start at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland and was 5 over par after the first round. He then shot 66 in both the second and third rounds to play his way back into contention. However, the media was unable to solicit any of Clark’s thoughts on how he played through 54 holes at The Open. According to James Corrigan of The Daily Telegraph, Clark refused to speak with reporters on Saturday. Clark is almost certainly avoiding questions about the decision that Oakmont Country Club recently made regarding his outburst at the U.S. Open last month.
