Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy ‘s chances to play in Sunday’s Super Bowl rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles are “slim”, head coach Andy Reid said on Friday. He was officially listed as ‘doubtful’ on Kansas City’s injury report Friday afternoon.
Worthy left Kansas City’s season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil early following a collision with Travis Kelce .
Xavier Worthy’s chances to play are “slim,” per Andy Reid (though he didn’t rule it out). But Worthy participated in “a little bit of team work” today and “he’s doing very well. All the stuff’s positive.”
