Twelve-year-old New York Jets fan Winston Sullivan had just watched his team lose 13-6 to the Carolina Panthers on Oct. 19 when he was asked to participate in a postgame interview while leaving MetLife Stadium. “I hate this team,” Sullivan said as he looked completely broken by what he had just witnessed. “I was born into this, and I’m not going to ever — I’m always a Jets fan. But, like, I just, I hate this team.” “I just said what I felt,” Sullivan recently told Andy Vasquez of NJ Advance Media for NJ.com about a clip that went viral among Jets fans and other members of the sports community. “Bad plays.
