With the game in the balance, Williamson stepped up, tallying 10 points, five rebounds, and five assists in the fourth quarter, showcasing his ability to dominate in clutch moments.
CJ McCollum and Trey Murphy III added critical scoring support with 23 and 21 points, respectively. Murphy’s highlight-reel reverse alley-oop dunk from McCollum electrified the home crowd, while rookie Karlo Matkovic chipped in 15 points, further solidifying the Pelicans’ depth.
Despite strong outings from Kawhi Leonard, who led all scorers with 29 points, and James Harden, who added 25 points and 17 assists, the Clippers couldn’t keep pace in the final stretch.
