San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy missed practice on Monday, one day after playing against the Jacksonville Jaguars. In the first practice report of the 49ers’ Week 5 game against the Los Angeles Rams, Purdy was listed as a non-participantdue to toe soreness.
Brock Purdy missed Week 2 and Week 3 this year because of the toe injury. On Monday, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said the toe issue flared up on Purdy on Sunday night.
“He didn’t indicate it to me at all during the game,” Shanahan said, per 49erswebzone.com. “I talked to him on the phone last night, and he said it was starting to bother him a little bit last night. But, nothing during the game at all.”
In Sunday’s game, Purdy completed 22 of his 38 passes for 309 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in the 49ers’ 26-21 loss to the Jaguars. In two games this year, Purdy has completed 65.8 percent of his passes for 586 yards, four touchdowns, and four picks.
