The Dallas Cowboys defense has taken another hit.
Coach Brian Schottenheimer announced Friday that cornerback Trevon Diggs had an accident at his home Thursday night, suffered a concussion and won’t play Sunday against the Washington Commanders.
“Trevon Diggs came in this morning with some concussion symptoms after having an accident at his home,” the first-year coach said. “He’s been checked out by our doctors and is in the protocol and will miss the game.”
Schottenheimer didn’t elaborate on what caused the concussion.

Diggs, who has missed time each of the past two seasons due to injury, has played in all six games this season, compiling 18 tackles and no passes defensed. Opponents have targeted the 27-year-old 15 times in 2025, completing 11 passes for 216 yards and three touchdowns.
