Dallas Cowboys (3-4-1) defensive end Dante Fowler exited Monday’s Week 9 home contest against the Arizona Cardinals (2-5) in the first quarter. Fowler suffered a shoulder injury on Arizona’s first offensive drive of the game.
He is questionable to return, ESPN sideline reporter Lisa Salters said on the Monday Night Football broadcast. Fowler suffered the injury after Cardinals right tackle Jonah Williams pulled him to the ground by his facemask. No penalty was called on the play.

For now, Dallas is without a starter along its defensive line. Fowler, 31, has started every game for the Cowboys this season, though he has struggled to make an impact. He has compiled just seven tackles (five solo), two tackles for loss and one sack.
