Colorado head coach Deion Sanders believes his son, Shedeur Sanders , will start for the Cleveland Browns at some point during his rookie season. Shedeur Sanders is currently the third QB on the Browns roster behind Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel.
“Be patient and be ready,” Sanders said of his son during an appearance on Travis and Jason Kelce’s ‘New Heights’ podcast. “You got to be ready when it’s time. But when it’s time, you’re going to know. And it’s coming up. I got a prediction. I ain’t telling nobody. I got a feeling when it’s going to go down. But it’s going to go down this year. … He’s going to get a shot.”
The Browns are currently off to a 1-2 start to the season. Flacco, 40, has struggled to begin the season. In three games, he’s thrown four interceptions compared to two touchdowns. However, the Browns won their first game of the season on Sunday, defeating the Green Bay Packers 13-10 at home.
