Deion Sanders spotted at Buccaneers practice watching Shilo Sanders amid absence from Colorado

Colorado head football coach Deion Sanders is in attendance for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ first training camp practice on Wednesday. Sanders, spotted talking with Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles , is in Tampa to watch his son Shilo Sanders .

Shilo Sanders, who played under his father at Jackson State and Colorado, signed with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent. He is looking to crack the 53-man roster in Tampa Bay.

Deion Sanders has been away from Boulder this offseason while recovering from an unspecified health matter at his Texas-based ranch. That absence caused him to miss multiple pre-planned events, including several camps in Boulder last month. The 57-year-old Sanders refused to address that absence during his appearance at Big 12 Media Days in Frisco, Texas, dismissing a question from a reporter from  The Athletic .

“The Athletic? Y’all be on that bull junk, so I’m not going to tell you much,” Sanders said. “But I’m not here to talk about my health. I’m here to talk about my team.”
