The Philadelphia Eagles have given the Dallas Cowboys yet another break during the most crucial stretch of the season. Philadelphia lost to the Los Angeles Chargers 22-19 on “Monday Night Football” after starting quarterback Jalen Hurts threw a season-high four interceptions. The Eagles (8-5) certainly aren’t soaring after losing three straight games. But watching them plummet has made Cowboys owner Jerry Jones feel like he can. “Real excited. They didn’t even put any fuel in the plane. I flew up here on my own,” Jones said Tuesday from New York during an interview with KRLD-FM in Dallas. “We sure got a shot at this thing.” The Cowboys sure do have a chance at winning the division and making the playoffs, but it remains slim.
