The San Francisco 49ers won an important game on the road against a division opponent in Week 1, but the victory came at a fairly steep cost. George Kittle caught a touchdown pass from Brock Purdy on the 49ers’ first drive of their 17-13 road win over the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field on Sunday. The Pro Bowl tight end left the game a short while later with a hamstring injury and did not return. Kittle is now expected to miss around a month, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. The 49ers could potentially put him on injured reserve. Brock Purdy was also banged up during Sunday’s game. Purdy suffered a shoulder injury and a toe injury in the win, and 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said the latter is more bothersome. Purdy’s status for Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints is uncertain. But that’s not all. Jauan Jennings, who entered the year as San Francisco’s top wide receiver, is also battling a shoulder ailment.
