Rookie New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo and quarterback Jaxson Dart introduced themselves to a national audience by earning an impressive 34-17 win over the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on Oct. 9. Specifically, Skattebo rushed for 98 yards and three touchdowns in that Week 6 victory. While speaking with reporters on Thursday, he suggested he hopes the Denver Broncos (4-2) are planning to keep him from having yet another stellar outing on Sunday. “I think it’s started,” Skattebo said about defenses focusing on him during game-planning meetings, per the New York Post’s Dan Martin. “You can plan for it, but there’s other people on the other team. … If people want to bring nine [defenders] in the box, then someone’s got to step up.
