The standoff between the Dallas Cowboys and EDGE Micah Parsons is starting to seem irresolvable. Parsons, who is set to play on the fifth-year option of his rookie contract in 2025, has requested a trade. The Cowboys have said they want to keep the 26-year-old pass-rusher, but it appears they’re still making little progress in contract negotiations. “It sounds like at this point it’s personal. It sounds like each side is dug in,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter said Tuesday on his podcast. “Right now, both sides seem to be angry. Now, have others put those feelings aside in the past and figured out a way to work out a deal? Yeah. I don’t see that happening here.
