Justin Fields injury update: Aaron Glenn reveals where Jets QB stands in concussion protocol

New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn gave an injury update on Justin Fields , who is dealing with a concussion. On Thursday, Glenn told reporters thatFields will practice but remains in concussion protocol. Aaron Glenn also said that if Fields is cleared to play this week, he will start against the Miami Dolphins on Monday night.

Fields suffered a concussion in the Jets’ 30-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 2. It was not a great performance for the former Ohio State star, as he completed three of 11 passes for 27 yards. Fields also rushed for 49 yards on five carries in he loss.

Fields was ruled out for last week’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tyrod Taylor was the starting QB and completed 26 of 36 passes for 197 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the 29-27 loss.

Aaron Glenn reveals expectations for Justin Fields this season

On Monday, Glenn told reporters that there won’t be any QB changes. That is despite how Taylor looked this past weekend.
