Kyle Hamilton trolls Shedeur Sanders after sacking Browns QB in NFL debut

by: Nick Geddes 11/17/25 NickGeddesNews

Shedeur Sanders did not plan on making his NFL debut Sunday. But after Dillon Gabriel left the Week 11 home game against the Baltimore Ravens with a concussion, Sanders was up.

On his very first drive under center, third play to be exact, Sanders got his “welcome to the NFL moment” courtesy of Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton . Sanders was sacked by Hamilton, who trolled Sanders by doing his famous celebration.

That was the beginning of Sanders’ debut, which got underway at the start of the second half. Sanders received a raucous ovation from the crowd at Huntington Bank Field upon entering the game. He completed his first career pass to wide receiver  Cedric Tillman  for a five-yard gain.

But following that completion, not much went right for Sanders and the Browns. They had a 16-10 lead after two quarters of play but were shutout in the second half. The Ravens won 23-16, getting back to .500, while the Browns fell to 2-8.
