(Summary) LSU brought in McNeese cornerback Colby Richardson on Friday night, as the Tigers put the finishing touches on the class of 2022. A New Orleans native, Richardson signed with the Cowboys in 2017, redshirted, and appeared in 27 games over the last four years, but was injured in 2019 and had a 2020 season pushed to the spring.
In the 2021 season, Richardson played in 10 games, recording 22 tackles, two interceptions, and three pass breakups. He entered the transfer portal in January, briefly committed to Colorado State, but is now headed to Baton Rouge to play for LSU.
