In the latest shakeup of the Associated Press Top 25 college football rankings, the LSU Tigers and Tulane Green Wave both made significant upward moves, highlighting their impressive on-field performances. LSU, coming off a commanding 48-18 victory over Auburn, leaped three positions to claim the No. 19 spot.

This win, their second consecutive since the setback against Ole Miss on September 30, propelled the Tigers to a 4-1 record in the Southeastern Conference. Now, with an overall 5-2 record, LSU is hot on the heels of No. 11 Alabama, as they trail by just a single game for the top spot in the SEC West Division.

On the other hand, Tulane Green Wave, after a decisive victory against Memphis, which marked the latter’s first loss in the American Athletic Conference, have made a comeback into the AP Poll, clinching the No. 23 rank. The Green Wave’s impressive streak of four consecutive wins since their sole season defeat to Mississippi showcases their resilience and prowess on the gridiron.

Their recent performances have also been recognized in the AFCA Coaches Poll, where they stand at No. 24, while LSU retains its position at No. 19. Both teams, with their renewed vigor, are set to make waves in the upcoming matches of the season.
