Former Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond is facing no further charges in a sexual assault case against him, his agent Damien Butler told ESPN’s Adam Schefter. He has been no-billed.
Bond was arrested in April on an outstanding warrant after he turned himself in to police in Frisco, Texas. He later got his release on bond and denied the allegation against him in a statement to NFL Network, calling it “ patently false. “
A “no-bill” means a grand jury found there was not enough evidence of guilt to support a criminal charge. As a result, Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis said the proceedings have ended. The decision comes weeks after a defamation lawsuit filed by Bond was dropped .
“After reviewing all the evidence presented, a Collin County grand jury returned a ‘no bill’ in the sexual assault charge involving Isaiah Bond, meaning no indictment will be issued,” Willis said in a statement, via Schefter. “This concludes the criminal proceedings in this matter.”
Bond’s arrest came just weeks before the 2025 NFL Draft , and he became a coveted prospect during the pre-draft process. He is coming off a standout season at Texas, where he had 34 receptions for 540 yards and five touchdowns as the Longhorns made it to the national semifinal.
