San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa is believed to have a suffered a torn ACL in Sunday’s win over the Arizona Cardinals, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday.
Bosa exited the game in the first half after falling to the turf awkwardly during a pass rush and did not return. Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters postgame that the initial belief was Bosa did not tear his ACL, but follow-up testing appears to have proved otherwise, per Rapoport.
