The Los Angeles Rams team flight to Seattle has been “significantly delayed” due to an equipment issues with the plane, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported. The Rams are scheduled to play the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football .
Per Schefter, the team is currently working on finding new travel arrangements to prevent further delays getting to Seattle. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Thursday.
The Rams and Seahawks are currently tied for first place atop the NFC West standings. That means the winner will move in front with just two more weeks left after this.
The matchup will also feature two of the league’ best receivers in Jaxon Smith-Njigba for the Seahawks and Puka Nacua for the Rams. Smith-Njigba ranks No. 1 in the NFL with 1,541 receiving yards this season and Nacua is right behind him at 1,367.
We’ll hope that the Rams can get the situation with their flight sorted out soon so they can get to Seattle and start preparing. It’s sure to be a matchup that will provide plenty of entertainment both to fans at the stadium and watching from home.
