Saints Ink Entire NFL 2020 Draft Class

The New Orleans Saints have signed they’re entire 2020 NFL Draft Class today according to several reports. The Saints VP/GM Mickey Loomis announced that the draftees were signed to four year contracts. The move comes after the NFL & NFLPA agreed on the running issues late last week.

First-round pick center Cesar Ruiz‘s four-year deal comes with a team option for a fifth season while the other three are just for four years. The team can now focus on moving ahead in training camp, after inking its rookies to multiple year deals.

Saints 2020 NFL Draft Picks

Round 1 (No. 24 overall) — Cesar Ruiz, C, Michigan: started 31 games at Michigan and most of them were at center.

Round 3 (74, from Browns) — Zack Baun, LB, Wisconsin: Baun had 12.5 sacks as a linebacker at Wisconsin last year .

Round 3 (105, compensatory from Vikings) — Adam Trautman, TE, Dayton:  was a first-team FCS All-American after catching 70 receptions for 916 yards and 14 touchdowns for Dayton.

Round 7 (No. 240, from Texans) — Tommy Stevens, QB, Mississippi State: The Saints traded back into the seventh-round to take Stevens. Coach Payton sees him as a Taysom Hill clone or a utility player whom can play multiple positions.
