New Orleans, LA– The New Orleans Saints are looking to improve the secondary behind CB Patrick Robinson. The Saints are trying out DB’s Kayvon Webster, Coty Sensabaugh & Prince Charles Iworah wednesday according several reports circulating. The team knows there is a lot of uncertainty behind the top three DB’s on the roster. The top two corners are former 1st round picks Marshon Lattimore & Eli Apple, followed by veteran Patrick Robinson (who has recovered from a broken ankle).
The spots behind the top 3 are pretty thin with inconsistent talent: CB’s PJ Williams, Ken Crawley, Justin Hardee, Marcus Sherels (free-agents signee), undrafted players Christian Campbell & David Simmons Jr.
Kayvon Webster 5-11 190 lb CB who last season spent time playing for the Houston Texans. Webster is a 7 year veteran from the University Of South Florida, whose previous stops are with: the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Rams & Houston Texans. Webster’s career stats are: 67 games played 122 tackles 21 pass breakups & 2 INT’s.
Coty Sensabaugh 5-11 187 lb CB out of Clemson in his 8th season. Coty’s previous stops are in Tennessee with the Los Angeles Rams, New York Giants & the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sensabaugh has played in 101 games collected 261 total tackles 32 pass breakups & 3 INT’s for his career.
Prince Charles Iworah 5-11 193 lb CB out of Western Kentucky & was drafted in the 7th round by the San Francisco 49ers in 2016. Iworah might be the long shot of the three because of his playing experience. He also had stops in Washington, Kansas City & spent time with Atlanta last season.
