New Orleans, LA- The New Orleans Saints are in the process of trying out veteran WR Rishard Matthews according to sources close to the matter. Matthews 29, who stands 6-0 217 lbs is a seven year veteran out of the University of Nevada looking to stick and stay with a team.

The Saints have a drop off in experienced wide receiver play behind staters Mike Thomas and Ted Ginn Jr. The team could be also looking at depth as they have concerns with WR Cameron Meredith who has yet to become healthy enough to contribute on a steady basis.
