Terry Bradshaw offers emphatic defense of Jerry Jones trading Micah Parsons

by: Brian Jones 12 minutes ago brianjones_93

Terry Bradshaw believes that Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones made the right decision to trade Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers. On Fox NFL Sunday, the legendary Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback shared his thoughts on one of the most surprising trades in recent NFL history.

“I think Jerry Jones did the right thing,” Bradshaw said. “I don’t blame him one bit. I would have unloaded him. Saves me a ton of money on the salary cap, No. 1. He’s automatically getting two more first-round picks to go with the two he’s already got. And who’s to say that at the end of this year, things don’t work out, somebody is going to get traded and pick up another one.

“Jerry Jones is sitting in the driver’s seat. I think it was a smart decision. And here’s the thing… Jerry Jones had to answer to no one to make this trade. It wasn’t the Jimmy Johnson trade when Jimmy moved [Herschel] Walker to get the six players, and they unloaded the six players, which equals six draft picks. This is going to be the same thing. Good move by Jerry Jones.”
