Terry McLaurin still remains unsigned in the nation’s capital with just over two weeks until the season starts for the Commanders. With that, Tom Pelissero at the NFL Network is keeping an eye on the next week or so to see if something comes in Washington.

On ‘Good Morning Football’ on Thursday, Pelissero shared some of the latest intel from around the NFL, including that involving McLaurin’s contract. He noted that nothing has come yet on either side, but that the Commanders could try once more in the next few days to get a deal done with him.

“In Washington, Terry McLaurin also embroiled in his own contract talks,” Pelissero said. “There have been negotiations between McLaurin’s agent, Buddy Baker, and the team, but the sides have not been close to this point on a deal.

“The coming days are going to be telling. Does Washington make one more offer to try to get something done with McLaurin?”

As part of this dispute, McLaurin, who has been frustrated by this and didn’t report to camp for a week, also requested a trade three weeks ago on July 31st. However, that has yet to go anywhere either, with Washington expecting to have him on the team for this season.
